When it was built, the “Le Querce” residential complex introduced innovative architectural criteria in Olbia, with the arrangement and adaptation of volumes meant to safeguard the existing oaks on the site, a choice which continues to make the complex much appreciated even today. Built to a design by the late architect Mario Strub, one of the first collaborators of Aga Kan on the Costa Smeralda, it was also the first real estate development carried out on his own and sold on paper alone, precisely because of the architectural quality of the project. The complex, not large in size, is on two levels and was built and delivered to customers in the second half of the eighties The units, elegant terraced houses, have a private garden, balconies and terraces harmoniously inserted in the volumes and facades, which, together with the fine finishes, give grace and distinction to the homes. The first initiative was followed by others, in the same urban context, including Le Querce est, again designed by the architect Strub.
