Built in just 12 months and opened in 1993, the Shopping Centre, located on the Olbia-Siniscola highway, is only 4 minutes from Olbia-Costa Smeralda airport, 15 minutes from the port and 10 minutes from the city centre. The complex, which is a market leader, was expanded in 2007. Designed by the late architect Mario Strub, one of the first collaborators of Aga Kan in Costa Smeralda, it has innovative architectural features for the period, in particular the design of the facades and the entrance, which vaguely recalls the crossed sails of the Sydney Opera House. It includes the hypermarket and around 60 stores, including Unieuro, Zara, and, for dining, Mcdonald’s and Old Wild West.
