The Marconi Shopping Centre, which opened in 1994, is located in Cagliari, in the densely populated Pirri neighbourhood. Nell’ambito della sua operatività, è stata iniziata un’efficace azione di razionalizzazione dei costi, e insieme una nitida focalizzazione sull’aumento della marginalità, valorizzando le successive ristrutturazioni che si sono susseguite negli ultimi anni.
I lavori in albergo, curati operativamente su incarico di Immobiliare Europea dalla Cantieri Commerciali srl, con l’ausilio progettuale di Rossetti Engineering, ha visto completare il rifacimento integrale di una cinquantina di camere, la creazione ex novo di una Spa, di due suite presidenziali, di uno schowcooking nel ristorante principale, oltre che la sostituzione degli impianti meccanici.
Da un punta di vista operativo è stato invece avviato un processo di aggiornamento tecnologico sfociato nell’adozione di un nuovo sistema gestionale, nuova infrastruttura di punti vendita e casse, interfacciato con il sistema di contabilità usato dalla società controllante.

As part of its operations, an effective cost rationalisation project was started, together with clear focus on increasing margins, enhancing the value of the subsequent restructuring operations which have taken place in recent years. Work in the hotel, operationally managed on behalf of Immobiliare Europea by Cantieri Commerciali srl, with the design help of Rossetti Engineering, has included the completion of the total renovation of about fifty rooms, the creation of a new spa facility, two presidential suites, show-cooking in the main restaurant, as well as the replacement of mechanical equipment. From an operational point of view, on the other hand, a technological updating process was started, which led to the adoption of a new management system, a new sales outlet and cash desk infrastructure, interfaced with the accounting system used by the parent company.
