2019 season ended up with an excellent result for Abi d’Oru. The growth was sustained for the fourth year in a row, with rooms budget achieving the goals and recording an overall +15% in revenues when compared to the results of the 2018. The investments made over the years have helped to confirm the target of luxury, never screamed but substantial. The Average daily rate (adr) rose by 60 euros, bringing the REVPAR (revenue per available room) to 280 euros.
The website, www.hotelabidoru.it, is the first, in order of relevance, among the sales channels, thanks also to the online campaigns, now active all year round. Exponential growth was noticed also with reference to the site of Booking.com. The Italian market, in fact, still grabs itself a leading placement with the top market share (25% of total revenues) and shows to be nearly the first in spending capacity, followed by Switzerland. Fast growth in the Russian market was observed too, with a +70% (compared to 2018).
The choice of positioning as a family friendly hotel was very profitable; given the investments on the kids club, on a new children’s pool opened last April, and the cute plush bees, designed by artist Bob Marongiu and gifted to all children guests, children guests of Abi d’Oru, throughout this year, were 5227!
Last but not least, on Tripadvisor the guests rewarded us with the first place in the ranking of all the hotels in the area. Thanks, as always, to the impeccable and skilled staff and to the guests who, summer by summer, confirm their trust and preference for Abi d’Oru.
